Lord’s church Grows

The Lord’s Church continues to grow. This morning there were 115 in attendance and the exciting thing is that there were 4 new souls added to the Kingdom. We also had two brothers ask the church for prayers as they are struggling.

One other exciting thing is that six of our Brothers are visiting the new church at Kayonga and have been there for the entire weekend. I will go to get them this afternoon. They have also discussed about going to lunsala which is to be our next preaching point. Please pray for this work.

Rita and I are very appreciative of the opportunity to be a part of this work. The Brothers and sisters at Konkwa are a real source of encouragement to us.

Sunday with Konkwa church

We had a great Sunday yesterday. A lot of planning was done for the Konkwa Church to host our “Restoration Seminar” in April. If you are familiar with the African Culture you know that this is quite time consuming. Drinking is a large problem here among the Kaonde people and so we have to deal with it from time to time. Yesterday there were meetings with two brethren that is struggling with alcohol. The men of the congregation spent a lot of time encouraging them and at the same time admonishing them. Please pray for our new brothers as they struggle with this demon.

Now for the good news. Yesterday 10 new souls were added to the Kingdom. There were 2 at Konkwa and 8 at Kyonge. The attendance of the two congregations was about 185. I have selected a few pictures to send with this email and will send more from time to time with names and information about these brothers and sisters so we can all be praying for them as they grow in the Lord.
